Dept of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology, Medical School University of Crete

The department includes 20 inpatient beds for children, adolescents and young adults (up to 21 years of age) diagnosed with benign hematological diseases, hematological neoplasms and solid tumors. Patients are treated from all over Crete and the islands of the SE Aegean according to the European collaborative protocols. Autologous transplants in addition to conventional treatments are performed. The Department comprises a graft processing laboratory located at PaGNI and 2 filament flow chambers in the Autologous Transplantation Unit.
